Retailer/Barista

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in our café environment, serving high-quality beverages and providing outstanding customer service. This position requires a love for coffee, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items with precision and care.
• Operate the POS system and cash register efficiently to process customer transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions, and offer recommendations.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products served.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a café or food industry setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and retail math.
• Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help both customers and team members.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
