REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Minimum 2 years hospitality guest service experience and minimum 1 year experience in retail food.

Must hold current Washington State food handler permit and adhere to all Washington State Department of Health regulations regarding personal appearance and food handling.

Professional appearance and calm demeanor.

Ability to multi task with customers and food delivery apps.

Guest service requires the ability to stand and walk continuously during shift; frequent bending, reaching, and stretching; repetitive manual tasks; and lift and to carry up to 50 lbs.

We are a tobacco free company—we do not hire tobacco users (smoke, vape, chew…etc.)

Possess self starting skills, be able to work well independently and be able to communicate clearly and professionally. Successful candidates will also be able to work on their own.

Experience with POS preferably Square.

Must have reliable transportation.

Availability to work afternoon and evening shifts as required by the needs of the business.

This position will earn a starting base hourly rate equivalent to Seattle minimum wage - 18.00 hour. Above that, depends on experience.

Paid sick leave (1 hour paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked after 90 days of employment as per Washington law.)

Responsibilities

The Retail /Guest Service person will provide outstanding customer service, generate revenue through helpful product knowledge, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, POS operations, and loss prevention in adherence to all company policies and procedures.
Provide exceptional service assisting guest purchasing items in our takeaway boutique.
Knowledge of current menu offerings
Discernment for upselling products and add ons.
Manage and prepare orders from app based deliveries and verify orders when picked up for delivery
Maintain cleanliness entire shop area by mopping, dusting and sweeping frequently.
Stock and clean retail area
Be proactive and work in unison for successful service while also being able to work independently when needed.
Dedication to creating first class hospitality experience for guests.

Prioritize resolution of service issues with guests calmly and confidently. Our #1goal is to exceed expectations.
While on the service floor, every team member is the face of the restaurant and should embody the spirit of exceptional service.
Complete assigned responsibilities including, but not limited to, opening, side work, and closing/cleaning duties.
