About the role

We’re looking for a solution-oriented Retention and CRM Specialist to join our Retention Marketing team. In this role, you will focus on launching and maintaining CRM programs that reduce churn, increase loyalty, and maximize customer lifetime value. Collaboration is critical, working closely with our Brand, Creative, and Digital Product teams to drive brand loyalty and enhance the customer experience.

What you'll do

  • Support the development and execution of retention strategies across onboarding, engagement, and reactivation to drive retention, lifetime value, repeat purchase rate, and satisfaction
  • Build, QA, and launch campaigns and automated flows across all CRM channels, including email, SMS, direct mail, and referral
  • Execute campaigns end-to-end, including creative briefing and feedback, segmentation, personalization, dynamic content, and scheduling
  • Own the ad hoc marketing calendar, partnering with Brand Management to ideate winning concepts
  • Act as a strategic partner for cross-functional customer initiatives, including product launches, subscriber experience improvements, and the launch of a loyalty program
  • Use analytics tools to assess campaign performance across key engagement and retention KPIs and share insights broadly to support optimization and roadmap planning
  • Set-up and execute A/B and multivariate testing across subject lines, messaging content, timing, offers, and channels to refine messaging and improve business outcomes

What you'll need

  • CRM experience: 2-4 years of CRM, retention, or lifecycle role in retail, consumer products, or e-commerce. Subscription experience preferred.
  • Functional expertise: Deep understanding of industry best practices, including A/B testing frameworks, contact strategies, targeting and segmentation, and retention KPIs.
  • Technical acumen: Hands on experience in ESPs (Iterable or Klaviyo preferred) and proficiency with BI Tools (Omni or Looker). Familiarity with direct mail or referral platforms is a plus.
  • Communication: Clear and concise in both written and verbal communication.

Compensation

Pay Range: $68,000 - $85,000

Your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. The salary range represents the entire compensation range for this position. Exact compensation will depend on a number of factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, level, years of experience, technical expertise, and other qualifications. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. This role is also eligible for equity + generous benefits + 401k + unlimited PTO etc - see our list of perks/ benefits below.
