Revenue Collections Analyst (RCM)

Reports to: Dr. Anish Puri

Status: At Will

Pay: Hourly with Monthly Bonuses

KPIs

Collection rate ≥ 98% per office, blended ≥ 98.5%

Over-90-days AR < 10% of total AR

Insurance verification completed ≥ 24 hours before appointment, 95%+ compliance

Daily production sheet accuracy ≥ 95%

• Insurance and Estimates
• Are Weekly OM reports updated with accuracy?
• Lead and liaison on Argus meetings independently for billings and payments teams
• Goal to have collection rate at 98%+ per office
• Are treatment plans being presented correct with correct fees?
• Are insurance verifications completed at least 24 hours before appointments?
• Is the insurance breakdown saved in Open Dental with coverage % for all procedures?
• Is financing (Sunbit, CareCredit, Cherry) offered on all $500+ cases?
• Are deposits being taken?
• Claims and Payments
• Are claims submitted daily with X-rays, narratives, and perio charts as needed?
• Are EOB rejections followed up within 2 business days?
• Is the daily collection goal met and documented on the whiteboard or huddle?
• Treatment Planning
• Correct production sheets daily, compliance of 95%+ daily
• Is the front desk trained to present treatment with confidence and clear costs?
• Are claim errors, missed billing, and lost authorizations tracked weekly?
• Is someone reviewing the ledger vs. collected daily?
• Patient AR
• Are patients with balances called weekly until resolved?
• Are patient statements sent every Friday?
• Is the over-90-days AR < 10% of total AR?
• Vendor Invoicing
• Oversee vendor invoices and payments
• Check mail for invoices and any other documents to be handled outside OM
• AI Tools
• Train AI models to help you across RCM
• Try new tools as they become available and give input to increase productivity
• Patient Experience & Growth
• Are all patients given estimates before treatment begins?
• Are billing-related complaints reviewed within 48 hours?

Experience in dental required

Experience at groups with 10-100+ offices required

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
