CDC has a full-time opportunity for a Revenue Cycle Manager. This position plays a critical leadership role in ensuring patients clearly understand their treatment plans and financial responsibilities while the organization receives accurate and timely reimbursement from payers.

Revenue Cycle Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee treatment coordination processes, ensuring accurate insurance benefit interpretation, financial estimates, and presentation of treatment plans to patients.
  • Ensure insurance verification and pre-authorization workflows are timely, accurate, and consistently support patient access to care.
  • Partner with clinical providers to ensure documentation, coding, and billing align with payer guidelines and reflect services delivered.
  • Lead efforts to prevent denials through proactive eligibility, coverage review, coding accuracy, and compliance with payer rules.
  • Monitor front-end revenue cycle performance, payer trends, and reimbursement outcomes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain full compliance with HIPAA, payer regulations, and state and federal requirements.
  • Train, mentor, and support treatment coordination and billing staff to deliver clear, accurate, and compassionate financial communication to patients.
  • Provide routine reporting to leadership on key revenue cycle indicators and operational improvements. Additional or different duties may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in dental or medical revenue cycle management.
  • Strong knowledge of CDT codes, dental insurance processes, and EOB interpretation.
  • Proficiency in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with multi-location dental or medical practices.
  • Experience with Medicaid dental or medical billing.
  • Certification in medical/dental billing or coding (e.g., CMRS, CPB) is a plus.

Work Environment

  • Multi-location responsibility (Carlton Street, Maplewood, Rochester, Crystal, and Buffalo).
  • On-site work required.
  • Regular interaction with CFO, COO, financial department, leadership, and clinical staff.
