Revenue Cycle Specialist

The role of the Revenue Cycle Specialist is to ensure the sustainability of the organization by ensuring financial wellness through the revenue cycle process.

Your role will be:

· Submits accurate claims to various payers on a daily basis using our practice management system.

· Submits claims manually on a weekly basis to Medicaid through keying data on Florida portal.

· Ensures payments are received timely by completing collection efforts and calls to include checking on weekly payments.

· Reviews A/R aging reports and alerts management to any large balances.

· Engages in collection efforts of denials, or erroneously adjusted payments.

· Enters patient responsibility into Quickbooks and submits to parents for payment on a monthly basis, runs credit card of file.

· Maintains credit card on file for clients with commercial insurance.

· Processes payments through Step Up for Students scholarship.

· Submits appeals for denials as appropriate.

· Assists providers with converting session in the practice management system.

· Troubleshoots issues with session conversions for providers.

· Answers billing questions from clients and company stakeholders.

· Ensures EFT and ERA enrollment for each payer.

· Prepares various billing and accounting related reports for President.

· Familiarizes oneself with all insurance company requirements.

· Obtains authorizations for clients every six months by submitting requests to insurance company.

· Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
