Job Summary
The Revenue Executive supports the Revenue Management function in maximizing hotel profitability and optimizing room revenue. The role involves analyzing hotel performance data, monitoring market demand, and assisting in the implementation of pricing and inventory strategies. The position requires prior experience in the hotel industry and familiarity with revenue management practices commonly used by international hospitality brands such as Marriott International and Hilton Worldwide operating in the Saudi market.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze daily hotel performance including Occupancy, Average Daily Rate (ADR), and Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR).
- Monitor booking trends, pace reports, and market demand to support accurate forecasting.
- Assist in implementing pricing strategies and inventory controls across all distribution channels including OTAs, GDS, and direct bookings.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis to identify revenue opportunities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue performance reports for management.
- Update and maintain rates, restrictions, and availability in the Property Management System (PMS) and distribution channels.
- Collaborate with Sales, Reservations, and Marketing teams to optimize revenue opportunities.
- Participate in revenue meetings and provide analytical insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and revenue management best practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the hotel industry is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Revenue Management, Reservations, or Front Office within a hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera PMS or similar property management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
