SCI Consulting Group is seeking a Consultant to lead and manage projects that support the development and implementation of revenue ballot measures for California public agencies. This full-time, salaried position involves overseeing projects from initial analysis through client delivery, as well as annual administration of existing revenue streams.

Our work spans public opinion research, ballot measure design, rate and fee studies, and data analytics. Our office is located in Fairfield, California, near the intersection of I-80 and I-680 – about 30 minutes from Berkeley or Walnut Creek.
Role Overview:
The Consultant leads projects supporting revenue ballot measures and local funding programs for public agencies. Projects may cover areas such as storm drainage, flood control, groundwater sustainability, mosquito and vector control, parks and recreation, and fire protection. The Consultant also provides ongoing administrative services annually to maintain existing assessments, fees, and/or taxes.

Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of professional experience in data analysis, public administration, accounting, finance, business, engineering, or a combination thereof. A bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Public Administration, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related field may substitute for two years of experience. Experience in a public agency or with consulting projects is strongly preferred. Candidates must reside in the greater San Francisco Bay Area or Sacramento Area and be willing to travel to projects throughout California (most travel will be day trips with minimal overnight stays). A valid California Driver’s License and access to a vehicle is required.
