Revit Draftsman

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to assist in the preparation of accurate technical drawings and plans for architectural, interior, or engineering projects. The ideal candidate should be proficient in CAD software, understand construction detailing, and be able to convert concepts and sketches into precise technical outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

● Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, sections, and elevations based on design concepts and sketches.

● Convert hand-drawn sketches or verbal instructions into clear AutoCAD/Revit drawings.

● Coordinate with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency.

● Maintain and organize project documentation, CAD files, and drawing revisions.

● Update drawings based on design changes, client feedback, and site instructions.

● Ensure drawings comply with local codes, standards, and regulations.

● Assist in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and tender documentation when required.

Qualifications:

● Any Degree in related field

● 1–2 years of experience as a Draftsman (experience in architectural or interior design firms preferred).

● Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other BIM/CAD tools is a plus.

● Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing.

● Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.

● Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills:

● Experience in creating joinery or millwork details (for interior-focused roles).

● Knowledge of MEP coordination (for construction-focused firms).

● Familiarity with project documentation standards.

● Ability to manage time and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

● Basic site measurement and surveying skills are a bonus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹1.00 - ₹2.00 per month

• Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
