Revit MEP Designer - Professional Kitchens

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Revit / Revit MEP Designer specialized in kitchen projects to join our Dubai team.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop accurate Revit MEP BIM models for kitchen-specific systems according to project LOD, BIM standards, and coordination requirements.

· Produce detailed kitchen MEP drawings/shop drawings: plans, sections, elevations, isometrics, schematics, and builder’s work layouts.

· Model and coordinate kitchen-related services including:

· Ventilation & kitchen exhaust systems (fresh air, hood extract, duct routing, risers).

· HVAC coordination for kitchen heat-load conditions.

· Plumbing & drainage including grease waste lines, floor drains, and venting.

· Gas systems (LPG/NG lines, valve locations, safety clearances) where applicable.

· Firefighting / kitchen hood suppression interfaces and Civil Defense compliance.

· Electrical & ELV power points, isolators, equipment loads, and coordination with appliance schedules.

· Carry out clash detection and model coordination with kitchen cabinetry/equipment, architectural, and structural models (Navisworks/BIM360 or similar).

· Coordinate service clearances and access zones for kitchen equipment (dishwashers, ovens, chillers, hoods, etc.).

· Support engineers with BOQs, material take-offs, and service load data extracted from Revit models.

· Ensure kitchen MEP layouts comply with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and Dubai Civil Defense requirements, plus F&B/hospitality best practices.

· Participate in site surveys, verify as-built conditions, and update coordinated drawings/models.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.

· 3–7 years experience in Revit MEP modeling/design, with clear exposure to kitchen / joinery / F&B / hospitality projects in UAE/GCC.

· Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP (families, parameters, worksets, templates, documentation).

· Strong understanding of commercial & residential kitchen MEP requirements, including exhaust/ventilation, grease waste, gas safety, and equipment coordination.

· Experience producing kitchen builder’s work drawings and coordinated shop drawings.

· Working knowledge of coordination tools (Navisworks, BIM Collab, Revizto, etc.).

· Familiarity with UAE authority standards relevant to kitchens (DEWA, Dubai Municipality, DCD).

· Excellent detailing standards, accuracy, and problem-solving capability.

· Able to handle multiple projects and deliver under deadlines.

· Strong communication skills and coordination mindset.

· Location: Dubai, UAE

· Working Hours: Full-time, 5 days/week (or per company policy)

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
