Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients presenting with rheumatic diseases, such as arthritis, osteoporosis, autoimmune disorders, and musculoskeletal pain syndromes.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic techniques including laboratory tests, imaging studies, and joint fluid analysis to accurately diagnose conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that may include medication management, physical therapy referrals, lifestyle modifications, and surgical interventions when necessary.
  • Monitor patients' progress through regular follow-up appointments, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes and improve quality of life.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals within our multidisciplinary team, including orthopaedic surgeons, physical therapists, and primary care physicians, to ensure coordinated care and comprehensive treatment approaches.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote active participation in their healthcare journey.
  • Stay updated with advancements in rheumatology research, treatments, and technologies to incorporate evidence-based practices into clinical care.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification/ eligible w/American Board of Internal Medicine.
  • Current unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of New Jersey (or eligible for licensure).
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of rheumatic diseases.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathetically interact with patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare colleagues.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.

Pay: $250,000.00 - $280,000.00 per year
