Rhino Furniture Drafter / Parametric Joinery Designer

About the Role

We are looking for a Rhino-based Furniture Drafter with strong technical skills in custom furniture and joinery production.

This is a design-to-production position focused on:

• Parametric furniture
• Complex geometries
• Wood and joinery detailing
• CNC-ready outputs
• Fast technical execution

You will work directly under design direction and transform concepts into production-ready technical drawings and 3D models.

Key Responsibilities

• Model custom furniture and joinery in Rhino
• Develop parametric components (Grasshopper knowledge is a plus)
• Prepare detailed 2D shop drawings
• Generate cutting lists and fabrication details
• Coordinate with factory / carpentry production
• Optimize models for CNC fabrication
• Produce realistic renderings (V-Ray / Enscape / Lumion preferred)

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Rhino (mandatory)
• Experience in furniture production / wood joinery
• Ability to convert 3D models into accurate shop drawings
• Understanding of:
• Materials and thicknesses
• Hardware systems
• Assembly logic
• Tolerances
• Experience with CNC preparation
• Working knowledge of:
• AutoCAD
• SketchUp or 3ds Max
• V-Ray / Enscape / Corona / Lumion

Preferred (Bonus)

• Grasshopper (parametric workflows)
• Digital fabrication experience
• Marine / curved geometry experience
• High-end residential or bespoke furniture background
