Ride Scheduler - FULL TIME

• Position is on-site at our Lowry office
• 4-day, 10-hour shift available

Rainbow Rider is a Public Transportation Company, based out of Lowry, MN. We have buses serving six counties: Douglas, Grant, Pope, Steven, Todd and Traverse. Dispatchers are an essential part of the company because they are the first people our customers talk to.

Each Dispatcher has their own cubicle, set with three computer monitors, one phone and one two-way radio. When a call comes in, the Dispatchers answers it and speaks to the passenger. They work with the passenger to get details on when and where they are hoping to get a ride. Using our computer scheduling software, the Dispatcher is able to pull up the passenger’s profile and determine the best time Rainbow Rider is able to provide the ride on the day the passenger needs it. The Dispatcher then finds a spot for this ride on a specific bus in that specific county, whether it’s the same day or a day in the future. It’s like a big puzzle and is ever-changing.

If you are familiar and comfortable with computers, like helping people, have customer service skills, and are able to multi-task, then this is the job for you!

Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in scheduling and coordinating appointments or rides
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with scheduling software or tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Computer skills: 2 years (Required)

• Phone etiquette: 1 year (Required)
