Job Title: Rigging Supervisor

We are urgently looking for a Rigging Supervisor with strong experience in managing lifting operations at construction or oil & gas sites. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in supervising riggers and crane operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and timely execution of lifting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all rigging and lifting operations on-site.
• Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with safety standards and lifting procedures.
• Review and implement lifting plans in coordination with the lifting engineer.
• Inspect and ensure all lifting tools and tackles are certified and in good condition.
• Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site engineers for daily operations.
• Conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments before critical lifts.
• Maintain records of all lifting operations and daily reports.
• Stop any unsafe lifting operations and report incidents immediately.
• Train and guide rigging crew on safe practices and proper rigging techniques.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in rigging and lifting operations.
• Valid Rigging Supervisor / Rigger Level 3 Certification (TUV, LEEA, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of lifting gear, crane operations, and load calculations.
• Familiarity with international safety standards (e.g., OSHA, LOLER, BS 7121).
• Ability to read lifting plans, load charts, and rigging drawings.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Must be available to join immediately.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred, not mandatory).
• HSE training certificates (OSHA 30, NEBOSH, First Aid, etc.).
