We are seeking a full-time Title Agent for immediate employment for our Client, Williams, in Duluth, GA. Our ideal candidate is experienced, self-motivated, eager to learn, listens to directions and is adept in record keeping and communication. We are looking for an ambitious, organized and detail-oriented team member who is capable of meeting deadlines with limited supervision. We are looking to fill this position by end of January 2026.

Position Summary

Provide professional real estate research services for the identification of property titles, ownership records related to right of way acquisition projects for gas pipeline, electric transmission or distribution lines installation or maintenance. The primary responsibility of the Title Agent is to support all needs of the Land Department to ensure project success. You will communicate with your team daily. Team members may be local or at another Williams location in Texas. This candidate will report to the Williams office in Duluth, GA during normal business hours Monday through Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform title ownership research, and perform title updates.
  • Assist Document Specialist team with performing land investigations, including route alternatives, assembling tax maps, searching for existing easement documents, and maps/plats.
  • Attend all relevant project meetings.
  • Read and interpret Right of Way Agreements.
  • Professionally represent SinglePoint to our clients, property owners, and interested parties.
  • Track and report status of projects to team members, leadership and internal stakeholder.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with permitting agencies.
  • Visit courthouses as needed to perform research.
  • Land owner inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and project specifications as well as applicable regulations, and/or client and SinglePoint policies and procedures.
  • Perform general administrative/clerical work as required, including but not limited to legal documents, reports, and correspondence, attending meetings, entering, and retrieving computer data, copying, and filing documents for file management, customer service and related functions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • 2 or more years of experience or education in right of way acquisition related to public improvement projects, including legal instruments involved in real estate transactions is required.
  • Education or experience related to one or more of the following: real estate, appraisals, property title search, map and plat interpretation, civil drawing interpretation, real estate law, condemnation procedures, land use and development or civil engineering design.
  • Experience with construction plans and plats for projects, including those for utility lines.
  • Solid computer skills with effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications with people of varied backgrounds, cultures, and temperaments.
  • Ability to work effectively within a project team or single person project environment.
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to plan, prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to client or project-specific procedures and guidelines while exhibiting a high degree of professionalism and teamwork.
  • Successful background check and negative drug screen may be required by one or more clients.
  • Valid drivers license, good driving records and auto insurance

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Employees are expected to use good judgment when lifting or moving office supplies and/or furniture and to seek assistance or wear back support appliances when appropriate. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus in use of computer monitor and other manual, task-related functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, use hands and fingers, to handle, or feel objects, tools, controls. Reach with hands and arms, hear and talk. The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information in person, via phone and email. Able to read, understand and interpret business related documents and data. This role requires the employee to drive/travel to meet with clients or the public. While meeting with clients or project team members, may need to be outdoors traversing different types of landscapes in a variety of weather conditions.
