Job Summary
The Golf Course Maintenance team at Rio Vista GC performs work supporting golf course maintenance and construction. The team will work directly with the Golf Course Superintendent in the maintenance and beautification of golf course grounds and entry areas.

The Golf Club at Rio Vista is a regulation 18-hole, par-72 course built to be an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all skill levels. The Golf Club at Rio Vista spans over 6,800 yards from the Championship tees and 5,300 from the Forward tees.

Located in Northern California’s wine region, Rio Vista is located mid-way between San Francisco and Sacramento, about one hour east of the Bay Area and 40 minutes south of Sacramento. Convenient access, unparalleled service and a memorable experience will bring you back time after time.

Responsibilities

• Operates powered equipment in mowing golf course greens and other features
• Operates edgers and trimmers
• Grades and prepares a soil plant bed, lays sod, plants, vegetative material, and pulls weeds in bed
• Changes cups and tee markers
• Maintains Ball washers, water hazards, and bunkers
• Operates light equipment in hauling materials and removing debris
• Trims trees, prunes shrubbery, and cultivates shrubs and flowers
• Assists in construction of new greens, tees, and fairways by grading, preparing soil and planting

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in golf course maintenance preferred
• Able to understand and follow detailed written and oral instruction
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Must be able to work early morning shift.
• Must be able to work at least one weekend day.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
