Risk Analyst

RISK ANALYST

ISO located in Canoga Park, CA seeks organized and energetic individuals for Risk Analyst position.

The qualified candidate must have:

• Bankcard Industry experience
• A working knowledge of Visa and MasterCard credit card processing, regulations and chargeback rules.
• Prior Risk Management experience in monitoring merchant credit card sales.

The individual will be responsible for:

• Monitoring merchant activity in order to detect and prevent fraudulent activity, potential loss and chargeback’s.
• Review and research transaction exceptions per approved account parameters on credit card processing activity as outlined in company guidelines and procedures while meeting required timeframes.
• Use internal systems to review and process merchant data for investigations.
• Correspond with merchants, banks and consumers both in writing and via the telephone as necessary for transaction verification and to investigate possible risk issues.
• Assist management with escalated issues as well as any additional projects.

Must be able to work independently, have strong written/oral communication skills and working knowledge of MS Office especially in Word and Excel.

A working knowledge of the IRIS Database a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
