Risk and Compliance - BA:
We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst / Project Manager (BA/PM) with a strong background in Risk and Compliance functions within the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business and technology teams, ensuring that compliance, governance, and risk management initiatives are aligned with strategic objectives. The role demands someone who can identify business requirement gaps, propose effective solutions, and contribute to the overall roadmap and successful delivery of projects.
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for all risk and compliance initiatives. Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows. Identify gaps and improvement areas in existing risk and compliance frameworks, recommending practical and compliant solutions. Manage end-to-end project delivery including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met. Ensure alignment of business processes with regulatory requirements, internal risk policies, and industry best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders from Risk, Compliance, Audit, and IT teams to define and track project deliverables. Support the design and implementation of risk management tools, compliance monitoring systems, and control frameworks. Drive the adoption of best practices in governance, risk, and compliance processes across the organization. Contribute to defining the strategic roadmap for risk and compliance initiatives, ensuring scalability and sustainability. Facilitate workshops, training, and stakeholder communication to ensure understanding and alignment on key initiatives.
8+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Project Management in financial services, banking, or fintech sectors. Proven experience in Risk Management, Compliance, or Regulatory projects such as AML/KYC, Basel, GDPR, Operational Risk. Strong understanding of governance frameworks, regulatory compliance standards, and risk control environments. Excellent requirements gathering, gap analysis, and documentation skills. Experience managing cross-functional projects with diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with industry best practices in risk and compliance management. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Professional certifications are an added advantage.
