Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk analysis by leveraging data mining techniques, statistical analysis, and financial modeling to identify vulnerabilities across various business units.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated data models to predict potential risks and assess their impact on the organization’s financial health.
• Lead initiatives in fraud prevention and detection by analyzing transaction patterns, utilizing financial software tools, and implementing effective controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data collection inputs necessary for accurate risk assessment and reporting.
• Perform quantitative research and cash flow analysis to evaluate creditworthiness, underwriting processes, and overall financial stability.
• Prepare detailed risk reports that communicate findings clearly to senior management, including recommendations for risk mitigation strategies aligned with financial concepts and principles.
• Negotiate with internal stakeholders and external partners to establish risk management policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Stay abreast of industry trends in banking, financial services, and risk management best practices to continuously enhance our risk frameworks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in risk analysis, financial analysis, or related roles within banking or financial services sectors.
• Strong proficiency in data mining, data modeling, and statistical analysis tools; familiarity with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) is highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of fraud prevention techniques, credit analysis, underwriting procedures, and financial concepts.
• Excellent quantitative research skills combined with a solid foundation in mathematics and statistics.
• Ability to interpret complex data sets using advanced financial software and perform detailed cash flow analyses.
• Knowledge of financial report writing standards and the ability to communicate technical findings effectively to non-specialist audiences.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills coupled with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field; advanced certifications or training in risk management are a plus. Pay: $93,000.00 - $123,000.00 per year
