About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Risk Management Specialist to join a major Building Construction project in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating project risks to ensure successful project delivery in line with industry best practices and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project risk management plans and frameworks.
• Identify, analyze, evaluate, and monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate risk workshops and coordinate with project stakeholders to assess risk exposure.
• Prepare risk registers, risk reports, and management presentations.
• Recommend mitigation measures and track the effectiveness of risk response actions.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and risk management methodologies.
• Support project teams in achieving project objectives while minimizing potential threats and maximizing opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of overall experience in construction project delivery.
• Minimum 4 years of specialized experience in Risk Management within construction projects.
• Formal training and/or accreditation in Risk Management.
• ISO 31000 Certification is highly preferred.
• Previous experience on Ashghal projects will be a strong advantage.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in risk management tools and reporting systems.
