Job Title: Risk Manager

Department: Finance / Compliance / Project Management
Reporting To: General Manager / Chief Financial Officer

Job Purpose:
The Risk Manager is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential risks that could affect the company’s operations, projects, or reputation. The role ensures that all business activities comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, while supporting strategic decision-making to minimize financial and operational losses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework across the organization.
  • Identify potential financial, operational, legal, and safety risks affecting company assets and projects.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and prepare detailed risk analysis reports.
  • Recommend and implement control measures to minimize identified risks.
  • Collaborate with project teams and department heads to ensure risk mitigation strategies are integrated into daily operations.
  • Monitor external factors such as market conditions, legal changes, and geopolitical developments that may impact company activities.
  • Manage the company’s insurance portfolio and ensure adequate coverage for assets, personnel, and liabilities.
  • Lead incident investigations and coordinate root cause analysis for risk-related events.
  • Provide training and awareness programs on risk management policies and best practices.
  • Prepare periodic reports for senior management highlighting key risks and mitigation progress.
  • Support business continuity planning and crisis management initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or Engineering.
  • Professional certification such as CRM, ISO 31000, or similar is preferred.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in risk management, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or large-scale project environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and risk assessment tools.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
