The Role: What You’ll Do

As our Risk Manager, you will hold the keys to the firm’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. You will operate cross-functionally across our financial, operational, and commercial divisions to ensure our strategic expansions are bulletproof and strictly aligned with local and international compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• ERM Architecture: Design, implement, and lead a comprehensive corporate risk management framework tailored to an expanding commercial portfolio.
• Commercial & Financial Assessments: Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk analyses on new investments, commercial joint ventures, and large-scale corporate accounts.
• Contractual Safeguards: Partner with legal and compliance teams to review high-value corporate agreements, service level agreements (SLAs), and vendor partnerships to minimize corporate liability.
• Crisis Management & Continuity: Develop, test, and maintain robust business continuity plans and crisis response protocols to insulate daily operations from unexpected disruptions.
• Executive Board Advisory: Translate complex data into clear corporate risk registers, delivering actionable risk mitigation advice directly to the CEO, CFO, and senior stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

• Education & Credentials: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Corporate Finance, Law, Risk Management, or Business Administration. Professional designations like FRM (Financial Risk Manager), PRM, or IRM are highly desirable.
• Experience: 5+ years of dedicated corporate risk management, compliance, or internal audit experience—ideally within a fast-paced consulting group, financial institution, or large corporate enterprise in the GCC.
• Analytical Mastery: Exceptional ability to build predictive risk matrices, map complex operational workflows, and evaluate macroeconomic factors affecting the Qatari market.
• Professional Poise: Strong commanding presence with excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing executive decisions and aligning cross-functional teams.
• Local Presence: Currently based in Qatar with a valid, transferable QID, ready to operate full-time from our corporate office in Ar Rayyan.
