Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Operation Manager/Consultant to lead and optimize our reverse logistics and quality management processes. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end handling of product returns, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 13485, HACCP, CGMP, and ISO 9001. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement in quality systems, streamline operations, and uphold the highest standards of quality assurance and control. Duties
- Lead the development, implementation, and management of RMA processes aligned with ISO 9001 standards to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams—including manufacturing, quality control, supply chain, and customer service—to facilitate seamless product returns and repairs.
- Conduct comprehensive quality audits to evaluate adherence to quality systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee quality inspections and testing during return processes to verify product integrity and compliance with specifications.
- Manage documentation related to RMAs, including return logs, inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and audit records.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing return data trends, root cause analysis, and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of quality assurance throughout the entire RMA lifecycle.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of ISO 13485 (medical device quality management systems), FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP practices, and ISO 9001 standards.
- Proven experience in conducting quality audits within manufacturing or healthcare environments.
- Strong understanding of quality control (QC), quality inspection (QI), and overall quality assurance (QA) methodologies.
- Expertise in managing quality systems related to QA/QC processes within manufacturing settings.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Analytical skills for root cause analysis, data interpretation, and process optimization.
