Job Description: Female Relief Medical Officer (RMO) – School Clinic
Position Title: Female Medical Officer / Relief Medical Officer (RMO)
Location: Reputable School (School Clinic)
Shift Timing: 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM (Morning Shift)
Reporting To: School Administration / Medical Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage complete clinical records of students, including medical history, treatment notes, and follow-up documentation.
- Provide first aid and basic medical care to students and staff during school hours.
- Handle medical emergencies and difficult situations calmly and professionally, ensuring timely escalation when required.
- Coordinate referrals and communicate with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns.
- Ensure proper documentation of illness reports, incident reports, and medication administration records.
- Plan, conduct, and maintain health awareness programmes for students and staff (e.g., hygiene, nutrition, mental health, first aid, vaccination awareness).
- Coordinate with Saifee Burhani Nursing School and Saifee Burhani University to organize and conduct clinical awareness and educational sessions.
- Maintain stock and records of medicines, first aid supplies, and clinic equipment; ensure timely replenishment.
- Ensure infection control and clinic hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
- Assist in health screening programmes (vision, BMI, general health assessments) as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of student medical information in accordance with ethical standards.
- Prepare monthly/weekly reports related to clinic visits, common illnesses, and health activities.
- Support school administration in developing and implementing health and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- MBBS (Registered with PMDC/PMC)
- Prior experience in school clinic, OPD, or primary care will be preferred
- Strong documentation and record management skills
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage emergencies and stressful situations independently
- Professional attitude with high confidentiality and ethical conduct
Working Conditions:
- Fixed morning shift (08:00 AM to 04:00 PM)
- School-based clinical environment
- Coordination with external institutions for awareness activities and health programmes
