RMPU repair & maintenance (technician)

Job Description:

RMPU Repair & Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine inspection, servicing, and preventive maintenance of RMPU systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and HVAC faults in RMPUs.

Perform repair and replacement of faulty components (compressors, blowers, filters, motors, sensors, ducts, wiring, etc.).

Conduct functional testing of cooling/heating systems after repair.

Maintain proper records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and spare parts used.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and railway/industry regulations.

Assist in installation and commissioning of RMPUs when required.

Coordinate with supervisors for timely completion of corrective and preventive maintenance activities.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical circuits.

Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.

Hands-on experience with tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment.

Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Familiarity with railway/industrial safety protocols.

Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.

1-5 years of experience in AC or RMPU maintenance (railway experience preferred).

Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance practices.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
