Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a full-time position (40 hours per week) in our Clinical Excellence Department for an RN Clinical Informaticist. This position is an on-site position.

RN Clinical Informaticist Responsibilities, but are not limited to:

• Serves as the primary clinical resource for the acquisition, project management, and technical support of new clinical applications and equipment.
• Supports quality initiative, patient experience measures, and reposting through EMR data.
• Serves as liaison with medical staff to ensure staff readiness and assist with downtime procedures during system outages.
• Serves as liaison with clinical application users for report development, work requests, problem reporting, analysis, and resolution.

Requirements:

• RN Licensure
• Two to three years professional clinical experience
• Must be a graduate of accredited school of Nursing
• Previous Clinical Informatics and EPIC experience is desired
• Mandatory Reporter training certificate a plus; certification is required as an employee
