Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Educator / Staff Development Coordinator to lead staff training, education, and competency development. This role is essential in promoting clinical excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting ongoing professional growth within our nursing team.

Key Responsibilities of RN Educator / Staff Development Coordinator:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee nursing education and staff development programs
  • Coordinate orientation for all new nursing staff and ensure a smooth onboarding process
  • Provide ongoing in-service training to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Monitor, track, and document staff competencies, certifications, and required continuing education
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify training needs and improve clinical performance
  • Ensure compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and Pennsylvania state guidelines
  • Support quality assurance, infection control education, and clinical best practices
  • Maintain accurate records of all training and educational activities

Qualifications for RN Educator / Staff Development Coordinator:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in staff education, training, or clinical leadership
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in long-term care
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
