Weekly Gross Income: $2,464/week

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurses to join a regional ER Float Pool in Colorado. This role requires flexibility to work across multiple facilities within an assigned zone and provide high-quality emergency care in a variety of acute care settings.

Schedule

Zone 1 – Colorado Springs Area

• 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
• Every Other Weekend Required
• 36 Guaranteed Hours Weekly

Zone 3 – Denver Area

• Night Shift
• Every Other Weekend Required
• 36 Guaranteed Hours Weekly

Required Certifications

• Active RN License
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• TNCC
• NIHSS

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Strong emergency assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience managing stroke, STEMI, trauma, respiratory, cardiac, and medical emergency patients
• Ability to independently interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry

• Trauma
• Stroke
• NSTEMI/STEMI
• Respiratory Distress
• Pneumonia
• Hypertension
• Diabetic Emergencies
• Abdominal Pain
• General Emergency Cases

Float Requirements

No Home Base Facility

Travelers must float within their assigned zone:

Zone 1 (Colorado Springs Region)

• Penrose Hospital
• St. Francis Medical Center
• St. Francis InterQuest
• St. Mary Corwin
• St. Thomas More

Zone 3 (Denver Region)

• OrthoColorado Hospital
• Longmont United Hospital
• St. Anthony Hospital
• St. Anthony North Hospital

Important Notes

• Travelers must reside within the assigned zone during the contract.
• Valid Driver's License required at submission.
• Assignments may be scheduled at one facility for a week or provided via Just-In-Time placement 1–2 hours before shift start.
• Flexibility and willingness to float are mandatory.
