An Assisted Living Registered Nurse (RN) provides and coordinates comprehensive care for senior residents, focusing on health assessments, care planning, medication management, and staff supervision (LPNs/CNAs). Key duties include monitoring resident health, administering treatments (IVs, injections), communicating with physicians and families, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Resident Assessment & Care Planning: Conducting initial, annual, and acute change-of-condition assessments to develop personalized care plans.
- Clinical Care: Administering medications, managing chronic conditions, dressing wounds, monitoring vital signs, and providing memory care.
- Supervision: Managing LPNs and CNAs, setting schedules, and ensuring high-quality, safe care.
- Coordination & Communication: Acting as a liaison between residents, families, and physicians to ensure continuity of care.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate, timely electronic or paper health records.
Common Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Experience in geriatric, home health, or long-term care preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with families and staff.
