We are seeking a dedicated Wellness Nurse to join our team, providing high-quality medical care to our patients in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, a strong foundation in medical practices, and a commitment to staying current with the latest medical advancements in health, wellness and aesthetics.
Duties:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including conducting physical examinations, reviewing medical histories, and developing personalized treatment plans.
- Administer injections and other medications as prescribed by physicians, utilizing experience in administering injections.
- Manage acute pain effectively, ensuring patients receive the appropriate level of care to alleviate their discomfort.
- Perform phlebotomy duties, including drawing blood samples and collecting medical information.
- Utilize health coaching skills to educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and management techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide trauma medicine and support to patients in need.
- Participate in medical office procedures, including managing patient records and coordinating appointments.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in dermal fillers, ensuring patients receive the best possible results from these treatments.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) in the state where the position is located.
- Experience in a medical office or similar setting.
- Strong knowledge in health and wellness.
- Proven experience administering injections, inserting IVs and providing health coaching to patients.
- Ability to perform phlebotomy duties (as needed) and manage patient care effectively.
