RN-IV Therapy

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in IV Therapy to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver expert intravenous treatments, including vitamin administration and fluid therapy. Responsibilities

• Administer IV infusions, medications, and fluids with precision and adherence to aseptic technique to ensure patient safety.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments prior to IV therapy, including vital signs, medical history review.
• Monitor patients during and after IV treatments, assessing for adverse reactions or complications such as acute pain or allergic responses.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation within EMR including detailed notes on treatment plans and patient responses.
• Educate patients and their families about IV therapy procedures, post-treatment care, and medication management to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with Medical director and other nurses on the team.

Experience

• Valid RN license with current state registration and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Demonstrated experience in IV infusion therapy within hospital settings or outpatient clinics.
