Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate RN (Registered Nurse) and LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) professionals to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth.
- Administer medications via injections, IV infusions, catheterizations, and other methods following strict aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations.
- Manage complex care needs including ICU (Intensive Care Unit), trauma center, emergency room, or hospital medicine cases with expertise in airway management, ventilator support, and acute pain management.
- Coordinate patient care plans through case management strategies tailored for geriatrics, dementia care (including Alzheimer's and memory care), hospice services, or pediatric populations.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection/processing, laboratory testing, medical imaging procedures like sonography or radiology support when applicable.
- Educate patients and families on health coaching topics including nutrition, medication administration, discharge planning, and post-acute care instructions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards; document intake assessments, medication records, CPT coding for procedures like suturing or spinal taps.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care in settings such as outpatient clinics or home & community care environments.
Experience
- Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments including nursing homes, assisted living facilities.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable.
- Prior work with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays; experience in dementia or Alzheimer’s care is a plus.
- Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to support patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation across various age groups from neonatal to geriatric populations.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as urgent care centers or hospital emergency departments while maintaining high standards of patient safety and comfort. Pay: $27.00 - $40.00 per hour
