Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in various medical settings. This role requires a compassionate individual who can provide high-quality nursing care while effectively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV infusion and injections.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Provide wound care, suturing, and catheter care as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Educate patients and families on health management, medication administration, and post-discharge care.
• Participate in emergency response situations, utilizing critical care skills when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with nursing practices and standards.

Experience
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Epic or Cerner EMR systems
• Critical care transport or ICU experience
• Long-term care, assisted living, or nursing home environments
• Hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or trauma medicine
• Geriatrics or pediatrics experience
• Home care or hospice & palliative medicine
• Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) and medical terminology
• Experience administering botulinum toxin treatment or dermal fillers is a plus
• Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and specimen collection/processing

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $43.00 - $44.00 per hour
