RN Navigator Medical Oncology Full time

Exciting opportunity for an RN Navigator in our Medical Oncology Department!

Registered Nurse with Medical Oncology experience preferred!

This is a full-time, day shift position!

As the RN Navigator you will:

• Provides individualized assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to overcome barriers within the healthcare system and facilitate access to all of the resources available to patients.
• Acts as a link between patients and care providers to facilitate clinical and supportive care services. Functions as a single point of contact among referring physicians, patients, and other clinical caregivers for the purpose of empowering patients in dealing with the disease and the treatment.
• Facilitates patient appointments for diagnostic procedures in the laboratory, imaging, and other specialty areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Current Colorado RN license
• BSN
• OCN® certification preferred.
• BLS (AHA)

Experience:

• Experience in the oncology is preferred.
