RN Nurse Manager - Agave Grove Post Acute

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced RN Nurse Manager to lead our Post-Acute Care team at Agave Grove. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care, and fostering a collaborative team environment. The Nurse Manager will coordinate clinical services, manage staff performance, and uphold compliance with healthcare regulations. Job Title: RN Nurse Manager

Salary: $39-$45 (Depending on License and years of experience)

Schedule: 12 Hour shifts, 10am to 10pm, rotating weekends.

Duties

  • Oversee clinical operations across multiple departments, including long-term care, memory care, and acute post-acute services.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA standards, and state-specific licensing requirements.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary team efforts to develop individualized care plans that meet residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
  • Manage patient assessments, medical documentation, medication administration, and medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
  • Facilitate staff training on infection control protocols, sterile processing techniques, IV infusion procedures, and advanced clinical skills like catheterization and ventilator management.
  • Conduct quality assurance audits and participate in utilization review and management to optimize patient outcomes and resource utilization.
  • Lead and supervise nursing staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and professional development to ensure high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

  • Valid RN licensure with current state registration
  • Extensive experience in post acute care settings or acute care such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers; critical care experience highly valued.
  • Proven supervisory or nurse management experience within long-term care, assisted living, or skilled nursing facilities.
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Point Click Care. Familiarity with ICD-9/10 coding and CPT coding is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, infection control practices, and medical imaging procedures.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
