Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive curricula aligned with program standards and learning outcomes, incorporating best practices in instructional design and adult education principles.
• Deliver engaging lessons both in classroom settings and through online platforms using Learning Management Systems.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive environment conducive to learning, participation, and respectful discourse.
• Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instruction, including multimedia resources, online assessments, and interactive activities.
• Provide personalized academic advising and mentoring to students, supporting their educational goals and addressing individual challenges.
• Assess student progress through assignments, exams, projects, and participation; provide timely feedback to foster continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, program improvement initiatives, and research activities related to higher education teaching.

Experience

• Proven experience in higher education teaching with a strong background in curriculum development and instructional design.
• Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively while working with diverse adult learners in both online and face-to-face environments.
• Experience in tutoring or providing academic support within university settings or adult education programs.
• Strong understanding of learning technology tools and their application to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Prior involvement in research or scholarly activities related to teaching methodologies or curriculum innovation is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on working collaboratively with students, colleagues, and academic advisors.
