Risk Consultant/RN – Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with CMS recommendations per company protocol
• Coordinate data gathering functions of risk management as well as analyze and draw conclusions from the data gathered
• Follow-up and monitor plans of correction for identified risk areas
• Facilitate prevention programs (falls, infection control monitoring, etc.)
• Provide input into the continuous development of the risk management program
• Ensure compliance with elements of Corporate Compliance program
• Communicate with residents, family, center staff, management, and medical staff regarding all aspects of risk management, plans of correction, prevention programs, and Corporate Compliance program
• Provide education to residents, family, center staff, management, and medical staff regarding risk management, plans of correction, prevention programs, and Corporate Compliance program
• Ensure compliance with all reporting and documentation elements of FS 400.147 and Corporate Compliance program
• This position is a HYBRID position – you will be expected to travel to 4 sister facilities (Bay Breeze, Grand Blvd, Silvercrest and Chautauqua) to conduct on-site audits 4 days per week with one day remote
• Flexibility is required. You will be required to be present at facilities during all survey activity

Risk Consultant/RN – Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with a valid license in the state employed
• 2+ years’ experience as DON, MDS, or ADON in a LTC center
• Completion of post-secondary education
• PCC (Point Click Care) experience
• Must be able to adjust to a flexible schedule to include evenings, nights, and weekend work hours when necessary
