Position Summary

The RN Supervisor plays a key leadership role in overseeing daily nursing operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care. This position is responsible for supervising nursing staff, coordinating patient care, supporting clinical excellence, and maintaining compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff in providing exceptional resident care
• Coordinate daily clinical operations, staffing, and assignments
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing team members
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care planning
• Monitor resident outcomes and implement improvements when needed
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations
• Assist with staff coaching, performance management, and development
• Respond promptly to resident and family concerns with professionalism and empathy
• Promote a positive and supportive team environment focused on quality care and patient safety

Qualifications

Required:

• Current and active RN license
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience- preferable in a direct care setting
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Current BLS certification

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience
• Experience with EHR systems
• Leadership certifications such as CNML
