Position: RN Supervisor (Full-Time)
Facility: Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
Location: Hazlet, NJ
Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $45–$50/hour (based on experience)
Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Supervisor to join our leadership team. As an RN Supervisor, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to oversee daily nursing operations during your shift. You will play a key leadership role in ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and staff performance while fostering a positive and professional workplace culture.
Support the DON and ADON in managing and overseeing nursing department operations
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations and policies
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
Conduct daily rounds to monitor resident care and staff performance
Assist with staffing coordination to ensure optimal coverage and quality care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on resident care planning and updates
Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, and families regarding care needs
Participate in surveys, audits, and quality assurance initiatives
Oversee documentation, charting accuracy, and MDS completion
Respond to incidents, concerns, and grievances with professionalism and urgency
Assist with admissions, discharges, and ensuring room readiness
Monitor resident conditions and provide timely clinical interventions when needed
Ensure completion of narcotic counts, emergency equipment checks, and safety protocols
Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
At least 6 months of experience in rehabilitative or restorative nursing
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
