RN Unit Manager – Rehab Unit

The Gardens at Gettysburg is seeking an experienced and motivated RN Unit Manager to lead our Rehabilitation Unit. This leadership position is ideal for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional post-acute and short-term rehabilitation care while supporting and mentoring a dedicated clinical team.

As the RN Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the rehab unit, ensure quality resident care, support regulatory compliance, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff on the rehabilitation unit

• Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and clinical documentation

• Collaborate with physicians, therapy staff, residents, and families to coordinate care

• Monitor clinical outcomes and ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations

• Support admissions, discharges, and transitions of care

• Assist with quality assurance initiatives and survey readiness

• Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff to promote clinical excellence

• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Previous supervisory or management experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred

• Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities
