RN Weekend Supervisor

Key Responsibilities As a Weekend RN Supervisor, you would be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day nursing activities and staff during your shifts. Primary duties include:

• Supervising nursing staff (including LPNs and CNAs), delegating tasks, and managing schedules.
• Ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Conducting patient rounds, assessing conditions, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Serving as a point of reference and mentor for staff, assisting with complex medical problems or logistical issues.
• Handling admissions, discharges, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications Typical qualifications for this position include:

• An active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
• Previous clinical nursing experience, often with a preference for experience in long-term care or a supervisory role.
