Job Summary
As an RN/LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across various settings. You will utilize your clinical expertise and compassionate approach to support patients through their healthcare journeys. Whether in a Level I Trauma Center or an outpatient clinic, your skills will be essential in ensuring the highest standards of medical care and patient safety.
What you’ll do
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments, including monitoring vital signs and conducting thorough medical evaluations.
- Administer medications and injections, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and proper documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.
- Perform IV insertion and venipuncture procedures with precision and care, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage with patients and families to educate them on health management, medication administration, and post-acute care options.
- Participate in emergency response situations, utilizing your knowledge of emergency medicine and basic life support techniques.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infectious disease care to provide informed patient care.
Experience
- Valid RN or LPN license in the applicable state.
- Previous experience in a Level II trauma center or similar high-acuity environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with hospital medicine, emergency room experience, urgent care settings, or geriatrics is a plus.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient patient documentation is essential.
- Experience administering injections, performing medical-surgical tasks, and managing medical records is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of post-acute care practices and outpatient clinic operations will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Pay: $33.00 - $45.00 per hour
