RN/LPN Charge Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership abilities, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to make quick and informed decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care activities and ensure adherence to established protocols
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Provide education and support to patients and their families

Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and ICD-9 coding
- Proficient in medication administration and familiar with aseptic technique
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in an SNF or similar setting is preferred
