RN/LPN Infection Control / Quality Assurance Nurse

Ozark Nursing and Care Center, a Skilled Nursing Facility is currently taking applications for RN/LPN ICN/QA nurse. This position will report to the Director of Nursing.

• Monitor for possible infectious outbreak.
• Implement and maintain plans and procedures concerning control measures.
• Identify and initiate isolation protocols and informs the appropriate state and county organizations of any reportable diseases.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement the quality management and quality improvement program for long term care facility.
• Monitor and provide assistance with quality assurance and compliance functions.
• Provide consultation and direction to ensure programs and services are implemented at the highest standards and residents receive the highest level of care.
• Ensure policy and procedure is monitored and updated to include regulatory changes.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in long term care required.
• Perform weekly wound rounds
• Ability to participate in call rotation
