RN/LPN Transport Nurse – Pediatric (No Nights / No Weekends)

ChildrenFirst is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN or LPN with strong pediatric experience to join our team as a Transport Nurse. This is a unique opportunity to step outside of traditional bedside care and play a critical role in safely supporting medically fragile children during transport and specialty medical appointments.

What You’ll Do

• Provide hands-on clinical care and monitoring during patient transport and medical appointments
• Perform skilled nursing interventions including:
• Trach care
• Suctioning
• Ventilator monitoring
• Ongoing assessment and intervention as needed
• Serve as the clinical advocate for the child during appointments
• Communicate confidently and professionally with physicians regarding patient status and history
• Ensure safe, coordinated, and high-quality care throughout the entire transport experience
• Document accurately in EHR systems

What We’re Looking For

• Active Florida RN or LPN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric experience (required)
• Experience with medically fragile children strongly preferred
• Current BLS Certification
• Strong clinical judgment and independence
• Comfortable speaking directly with physicians and care teams
• Experience with EHR systems
• Professional presence with a positive, team-oriented attitude
