Position: PRN Registered Nurse – Anesthesia & Recovery Team
Location: Austin & Surrounding Areas
Schedule: PRN (1–3 days/week) | Potential for Full-Time

About the Role

As part of our mobile anesthesia and recovery services team, you’ll:

  • Meet with patients and families preoperatively to provide support, answer questions, and ease anxiety
  • Assist in anesthesia preparation and monitor patients through post-op recovery to safe discharge
  • Gain hands-on PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) experience, working directly in recovery settings
  • Support clinical processes including patient follow-up calls and coordination with staff across various healthcare settings

We provide services in a variety of outpatient locations throughout Austin and the surrounding areas. The typical schedule is Monday–Friday, with no evenings or overnight shifts, and only occasional Saturday mornings.

This PRN role is 1–2 days per week, with flexibility to accommodate other commitments. For the right fit, there is potential to transition into a full-time role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active RN license (Texas)
  • Current PALS and/or ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and eagerness to learn
