About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Road Design Engineer with strong expertise in road and highway design to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality road design solutions for both local and international projects, ensuring compliance with design standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed geometric road designs using Civil 3D.
• Conduct vehicle swept path analyses to ensure safe and efficient road layouts.
• Prepare and review grading plans, cross-sections, and profiles.
• Prepare road BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates.
• Design pavement structures in line with project and international standards.
• Prepare designs for road signs, markings, and traffic management layouts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable design codes and project requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with project stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
• Prepare and review technical reports, design documents, and specifications.
• Contribute to design reviews and provide technical input during project execution.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: 7 – 12 years of proven experience in road/highway design.
• Strong command of AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.
• Experience in international projects will be a strong advantage.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Strong technical writing and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
