Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Road Engineer to join our consultancy team in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in road and infrastructure projects, with a solid consultancy background and the ability to manage site supervision, technical coordination, and project execution activities in compliance with project specifications and local authority standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor road and infrastructure construction activities on-site.
• Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.
• Review contractor submissions, method statements, shop drawings, and material approvals.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and local authorities regarding project progress and technical matters.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Monitor project quality, safety, and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Verify measurements, quantities, and contractor invoices/certifications.
• Identify technical issues on-site and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE municipality and infrastructure authority regulations.
• Attend project meetings and support project management in achieving milestones and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in road and infrastructure projects.
• Consultancy experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of road construction, utilities coordination, and infrastructure works.
• Experience in UAE projects and familiarity with local authority standards preferred.
• Ability to review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and engineering-related software.
• Valid UAE driving license is an added advantage.
• Candidates currently available in UAE and able to join immediately will be preferred.
