A. Coffee Roaster – Specialty & Ultra-Premium CoffeesPosition Overview

The Coffee Roaster is responsible for the consistent roasting of specialty and ultra-premium coffees in alignment with JULITH’s quality standards and sensory objectives. This role requires a high level of precision, process discipline, and quality control, particularly when handling high-value micro lots and limited releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute roasting operations according to approved roast profiles
• Develop and refine espresso and filter roast profiles
• Monitor roast performance through data analysis and cupping feedback
• Ensure full traceability and documentation for high-value coffees
• Conduct cupping sessions for quality control and profile validation
• Evaluate green coffee quality parameters
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Coffee and service teams

Qualifications & Experience

• 2–3 years of professional specialty coffee roasting experience
• Experience handling high-value coffees and micro lots
• Strong understanding of roast development and profile consistency
• Structured cupping experience
• Proficiency with professional roasting equipment and software

B. Roaster AssistantPosition Overview

The Roaster Assistant supports daily roasting operations and quality processes while developing the technical and sensory foundations required for professional coffee roasting. This is a development-focused role with a clear progression pathway.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily roasting activities under supervision
• Prepare green coffee batches, including weighing and labeling
• Assist with post-roast handling and storage
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the roastery
• Support packing, labeling, and inventory processes
• Participate in cupping and quality control activities
• Assist with roaster setup and routine cleaning
• Follow safety and operational standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Specialty coffee or barista experience is an advantage
• Basic understanding of specialty coffee concepts
• Strong attention to detail
• Genuine interest in long-term development in coffee roasting
