Roastery Packaging Associate

Job Summary

Our company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Roastery Packaging Associate to support our specialty coffee production. This role is responsible for packaging freshly roasted coffee, maintaining quality and hygiene standards, and supporting daily roastery operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision, cleanliness, and teamwork, and has an interest in specialty coffee production.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh, grind (if required), and package roasted coffee
• Seal, label, and date coffee bags according to company's standards
• Ensure correct batch, origin, and roast information on all packages
• Perform basic quality checks (appearance, aroma, seal integrity)
• Maintain cleanliness of packaging and production areas
• Follow hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with inventory of packaging materials and finished products
• Support roasting and production team when required
• Prepare orders for retail, wholesale, and internal branch supply
• Report any quality, equipment, or stock issues to the Head Roaster or Supervisor

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous food production, packaging, or coffee experience is an advantage
• Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
• Basic understanding of cleanliness, hygiene, and food handling
• Physically able to stand for long periods and handle light lifting
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to learn about specialty coffee
